Kevin Sidel brings 30 years of legal experience, 23 years as a Judge and more than 18 years in alternate dispute resolution to his evaluation and resolution of disputes.  In his capacity as mediator, arbitrator, Special Master and Appointed Judge, Kevin has handled thousands of cases since beginning his dispute resolution practice in 1999.  


From 1995 through 2007 Kevin was the part-time County Court Judge in Elbert County, served as needed as Acting District Court Judge in the 18th Judicial District and also served as a part-time District Court Magistrate from 1997-2002.  As a part-time Judge and Magistrate, Kevin was able to begin his dispute resolution practice while still on the bench.  The dispute resolution practice became Kevin's primary position when he left the state court system in 2007.  Kevin has also served as the Judge for the Parker Municipal Court since 2000.  


Kevin has previous experience in private practice as well as the District Attorney's Office in the 18th Judicial District.  


Kevin is a member of the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association and is a Professional Member of the Mediation Association of Colorado.  Kevin has lectured widely on dispute resolution, family law and ethics topics.
